Nethy Bridge Holiday House

In a peaceful situation on the southern edge of the village, with lovely views over the surrounding hills and woods, this attractive modern house is part of a small new development, surrounded by open countryside and ancient forests. Built in a traditional style and furnished and fitted in a tasteful contemporary manner the bright sunny rooms are comfortable and welcoming. There is a large garden with decking accessed by patio doors, and garden furniture is provided to sit out and enjoy the scenic surroundings. There are stunning views of the Cairngorm Mountains, and to the rear of the house the river Nethy and beyond the Abernethy forest.

Nethybridge is a charming village in a beautiful setting within the Cairngorm National Park. It has a well stocked village shop and a renowned butchers and there are 2 hotels in the village which serve meals . The house is perfectly situated to enjoy all the outdoor activities of the local area and to explore the Highlands and the Moray Firth coast.

The house has 2 double bedrooms (1 with ensuite shower room and small dressing room) and 2 twin bedrooms. There are also 2 folding beds suitable for children and the house easily sleeps 8-10 people as the upstair bedrooms are quite spacious. There is an open plan living /dining room with woodburning stove and adjoining kitchen area. Patio doors lead from the open plan area to the back garden and decking. There is also a utility room, 2 family bathrooms (both with shower over bath) and garage. It is all electric and well equipped with 2 fridges, a freezer ,auto washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, satellite TV/dvd player and CD player/radio. Bed linen and towels are provided together with an initial supply of wood for stove . There is a travel cot and a rocking crib as well as a high chair and a stair gate for the foot of the stairs. There is a selection of childrens' books, toys and games and there is a large climbing frame/swing in the garden.
